I personally think that the Lord is a very good ski to go for, and I can guarantee that you'll have lots of fun on the mountain. Just don't forget to check out the faces of the people behind you when you're cruising down a run and suddenly pull an effortless 360. While I didn't get to test either ski in powder, the design of both skis mean that they are perfectly suited to the deeper powder condition. Unlike you, I shall be opting for the Salomon Lord - but your review has pointed me in this direction. I'm looking to venture a bit more off-piste this season after a few trips 'down the back' of the mountain last year.
