InfoSec 2009 - Earls Court
Having not updated in a while, I thought I would post a little something.
Attended InfoSec 2009 in London today. It ended up being a very interesting event, with a lot of companies focusing on Mobile-Device security (cellphones, memory sticks, etc). There was a very significant presence from universities, including Westminster, Oxford, and Royal Holloway. Fortunately I wasnt working on the stand at RHUL, so I got to go round the event and catch up on the latest in Information Security.

- Apple Media Event starting now. Watch live at www.apple.com . New iPods / Apple TV / iTunes features expected.
- Purchased a Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS II USM with 1.4x Extender. Fantastic Lens!
- Site upgrade from Wordpress 2.9.x to 3.0.1 completed Successfully. Site theme changed due to issues. More site updates to follow soon.
- Apple WWDC Kicks off today. Steve Jobs' Keynote at 1800-BST. New iPhone expected, as well as the new iPhone OS and more.
- Completed the server upgrade from Ubuntu 8.04 LTS to 10.04 LTS. All services are fully functional.
